Hamas praises Yemen’s missile strike on Ben Gurion Airport

Hamas has praised Yemen’s missile strike on Ben Gurion Airport, calling it a testament to Yemen’s commitment to Palestine. The movement condemned U.S.-Israeli aggression and urged Arab nations to unite against Israeli occupation. Reports confirm that Israeli air defenses failed to intercept the Yemeni missile, which struck its target with precision.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Hamas has praised the missile strike launched by the Yemeni Armed Forces on Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, describing it as a powerful demonstration of Yemen’s unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause. The movement emphasized that despite ongoing U.S.-Israeli military aggression against Yemen, the country continues to stand in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people.

In a statement issued Sunday, Hamas saluted Yemen’s leadership and people for their courage and steadfast support of Gaza, which remains under siege. The movement reaffirmed its full solidarity with Yemen, condemning what it called “brutal American-Zionist aggression.”

Hamas urged Arab and Islamic nations to fulfill their historic responsibilities by supporting Palestine, defending the Palestinian people against systematic genocide and starvation, and resisting Israeli occupation efforts to dominate the region. The movement called for unified action to protect sacred sites and counter Israeli expansionist policies.

Abu Obeida, spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, also praised Yemen’s resilience, describing it as a nation that refuses to submit despite facing relentless aggression. He highlighted Yemen’s ability to bypass advanced Israeli defense systems and strike its targets with precision.

Reports indicate that Israeli air defense systems, including the American THAAD and Israeli Arrow, failed to intercept the hypersonic missile launched by Yemen, which directly hit Ben Gurion Airport. Israeli media confirmed that the missile bypassed multiple layers of air defense, creating a massive crater and triggering widespread panic.
